A selection committee of keepers, veterinarians and staff narrowed online submissions to five finalists: Ju Bao (“treasured jade”), Jun Bao (“outstanding treasure”), Lin Bao (“precious jade”), Yu Bao (“blessed treasure”) and Shu Bao (“dawn treasure”).        Voting is being conducted via the Everland app, Panda World, and the Chinese Embassy’s social media platforms. The winning name will be announced in September when the cub turns 100 days old.    The cub was born on June 3 to Ai Bao and Le Bao, giant pandas from China currently living in South Korea. At 77 days old, the cub weighed 3.7 kilograms and was reported to be in good health.
